Hislop replied, “I have dual citizenship, but my heart belongs to Costa Rica!” When asked if she is a Tica or a Tica-Gringa, Ms. I did not stop until I achieved the coveted cover.” If I set my sights on something, I achieve it, and that’s what happened with Maxim.
I keep a list of all the things I have yet to achieve.
She describes how she triumphed over the other competitors, “I had tremendous faith in God, and in myself, my dedication, efforts and perseverance. She was selected in a virtual competition, where she competed with thousands of other international beauties to win Maxim’s cover. Hilsop is a model and entrepreneur, currently living in Miami. Her name is Lucy Hislop, and she is originally from Guanacaste.
